Hello! I'm Daniel.

I’m a New York-born, Los Angeles-based music professional working across artist relations, creative programming, community, education, live events, and songwriting. My background sits at the intersection of creative taste and operational follow-through: I’ve managed arts and music programs, coordinated songwriter retreats and live events, built community around artists and young creatives, taught music to children and young adults, and released original music across multiple artist projects.Professionally, I’ve worked across organizations including: Carnegie Hall, SONA, The Goffin & King Foundation, and a range of music, education, and creative companies.Creatively, I write, release, and perform music under several monikers - from folk/singer-songwriter work to funk-pop and children’s music.I’m drawn to roles that connect artists, audiences, and creative communities, the kind of work that requires both emotional intelligence and a spreadsheet that doesn’t burst into flames.Selected areas of experience:
Artist relations and creative community, Music programming and event coordination, Songwriter retreats, workshops, and live events, Children’s music education and curriculum design, Customer experience, community operations, and communications, Songwriting, performance, and independent artist development.
Outside of work, you’ll probably find me: making music, boxing, reading about Jungian psychology, going on long bike rides, or eating an amount of gummy bears that my dentist would describe as “a cry for help.”Thanks for stopping by!

Francis Aud

Okay, so imagine if Bruno Mars had a baby with Allen Stone and then that baby’s nanny was Al Green and growing up he listened exclusively to: Marvin Gaye, Earth Wind and Fire, and The Bee Gees.Next, imagine that baby had a killer voice, great stage presence (albeit sometimes making one too many dad jokes...) was a fantastic songwriter, and was the most humble person you'd ever meet (this is called 'irony') and BOOM, you'd have Francis Aud.Under the name 'Francis Aud,' I write and perform my own cheeky, groovy, and patent-pending blend of funk and pop which I like to call 'f0nk.'Let's boogie!

stella.

Drawing influence from songwriters such as: Leonard Cohen, Brandi Carlile, Paolo Nutini, and The Avett Brothers, 'stella.' is the name under which I make music that grapples with the highs and lows of life like love, grief, and good old fashioned existential questioning. After releasing my first EP ‘Amalfi’ in 2018 along with my follow-up single ‘Still Choose You’ in 2019, I've just released my second EP titled ‘A Study In Balance’ earlier this year and am currently preparing to release my first full length LP in 2025. Stay tuned!

Matt & Dan

Heralded as the “saviors of children’s music,” commonly referred to as “the two most handsome men in any two-person occupancy room” and known worldwide (a.k.a. just to our mothers) as the greatest pairing since peanut butter and jelly, ladies and gentlemen I present to you drum roll Matt & Dan!'Matt & Dan' is a musical duo that consists of myself and my friend/ fellow musical artist and multi-hyphenate performer, Matthew Harvey.Since releasing our original kid's jams in 2022 we've worked alongside notable brands such as: CAMP, Ferrara, and Kinoo.Though we market these songs as "children's music", we're confident that folks of all ages and walks of life can and WILL 100% get down to these tunes.Come and hang with Matt & Dan!

Dan The Melody Man

'Dan The Melody Man' is the name under which I perform as a children's music entertainer throughout the greater NYC area.Since embracing my own inner child (and as a result also abandoning all my self-consciousness) in 2018, I've had the pleasure of working with companies such as: Kidville, Gymboree, Free to be Under Three, Treasure Trunk Theater, and Little Buddies as an Educator.I've designed and taught my very own private classes that focus on sensorimotor and social development which has resulted in a breadth of experience in teaching and performing for children as young as 18 mos. to 13 years old! From mommy-and-me classes and birthday parties to baptisms and the MET gala (okay, maybe not that last one), trust me when I say that I have yet to meet a baby yet I don't get along with.Long story short, you can always count on Dan the Melody man to bring the jams!
